मेरी आदत है कि आते ही अपने ईमेल पर चिट्ठाकारों की चर्चा को अवश्य पढ़ता हूं। उसमें हमेशा अपने मतलब की बात ढूंढने की कोशिश करता हूं। श्री अनुनाद सिंह-जिन्होंने देवनागरी का टूल दिखाकर मुझे एक तरह से हिंदी ब्लाग जगत के दूसरे दौर में पहुंचा दिया-ने आज वहां एक अनुवाद का दिखाया। इस टूल की चर्चा मैं अक्सर करता रहा हूं कि हिंदी से अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद का कोई “>टूल है जो शायद हमारे पास नहीं पहुंचा। एक अंग्रेजी के ब्लागर ने मेरी एक पोस्ट पर कमेंट में कहा था कि अब तो भाषा की दीवार ही खत्म होने वाली है और उसी के कहने पर मैने अपना एक लिखा था कि शायद कोई ऐसा टूल है। मेरी पोस्टों पर अनेक बार अग्रेजी लोगों ने अपनी कमेंट रखीं हैं, शुरूआत में मुझे हैरानी होती थी कि यह भला कैसे पढ़ते होंगे। फिर मुझे लगा कि शायद मेरे वर्डप्रेस के ब्लागों की श्रेणियां अंग्रेजी वालों से टकरातीं है इसीलिये खोलकर वह अपनी भाषा में चिपका जाते होंगे।
कुछ दिनों से ब्लागस्पाट के ब्लाग भी पता नहीं किन ऐसे लोगों की पकड़ में आ जाते हैंे जो अंग्रेजी में कुछ कमेंट चिपका देते हैं। जब उस ब्लागर ने ऐसे टूल की बात की तो मुझे यकीन हो गया कि ऐसा कोई टूल है जो हिंदी से अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद कर रहा है। आज श्रीअनुनाद सिंह ने इसकी चिट्ठाकार चर्चा में जानकारी दी तो मैंने एक दो लाइन लिख कर प्रयोग किया। ऐसा लगा कि ठीकठाक है। पिछले एक माह में श्रीअनुनाद सिंह ने यह तीसरा टूल दिया है जिसका मै प्रयोग करने वाला हूं। एक टूल तो उन्होनें मुझे देवनागरी से अरबी लिपि में भी भेजा। जब मैने उसका प्रयोग किया तो मेरी आंखें फटी रह गयी कि देखो अंतर्जाल पर क्या क्या देखने को मिल रहा है।
अगर यह टूल सफल रहता है तो वाकई इस दुनियां में बहुत कुछ बदलने वाला है। मेरे जैसा अंग्रेजी में पैदल आदमी भी जब अपनी पोस्ट अंग्रेजी मैंने लिखेगा तो फिर जो अंग्रेजी में पढ़ कर लिख रहे है उनसे दो आगे ही रहेगा। अगर किसी को हानि न पहुंचे तो मैं अपने प्रयोग भी करता हूं। आज यह पोस्ट उसी टूल से अंग्रेजी में कर प्रस्तुत करूंगा। बहुत शोर सुनते थे कि अंग्रेजी वाले हिट हैं। यहां हिंदी में तो हिट हुए नहीं देखते हैं अंग्रेजी में क्या स्थिति बनती है। अभी शायद कुछ लोग इसे मजाक समझेंगे पर आप बताईये हिंदी के ब्लाग लेखक अंग्रेजी में लिखेंगे तब क्या वह अपना कुछ प्रभाव नहीं छोड़ेंगे? हालांकि अंग्रेजी वाले इससे पढ़ सकते है पर उनको भी इसका का क्या पता कि जो शब्द दिख रहे हैं वह हिंदी है कि अरबी? इसलिये क्यों ने अपनी एकाध पोस्ट अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद कर रख दें। हालांकि मैं हिंदी को लेकर बहुत संवेदलशील हूं और उसमें लिखते रहने के इच्छुक होने के कारण कभी अंग्रेजी का आत्मसात नहीं किया। वरना इतनी तो मुझे आती है कि थोड़ा अभ्यास कर लिखने लगता।
जैसे हमें अंग्रेजी का हिंदी में अनुवाद अच्छा लगता है वैसे ही अंग्रेजी वालों को भी लगता है। यह मानवीय स्वभाव है कि जिस स्थिति में वह रहता है उससे अलग वातावरण में उसकी जिज्ञासा रहती है। बहरहाल लंबी चौड़ी बातें तो होतीं रहेंगी फिलहाल की जानकारी पर श्रीअनुनाद सिंह को बधाई।मैंने यह अनुवाद उसी टूल से किया है और ऐसा लगता है कि अगर सावधानी से हिन्दी लिखी जाये तभी इसका इस्तेमाल सही रूप से किया जा सकता है. कुछ गलतियां इसमें थीं जिस मैंने अपने विवेक से ठीक करने का प्रयास किया है. इसमें मैं अपने हिन्दी में लिखे के लिए जिम्मेदार हूँ बाकी जिम्मा तो टूल का है. बहरहाल यह टूल दिलचस्प है.
